It is Spring! And getting my hands into the earth and connecting with nature is helping me so much. Today I went out to my yard to pick some violets to add to our salads and surprised myself finding chicory, henbit, dandelion and fennel, along with the violets I had gone out to get. Just the process of being on the ground, with my hands touching what is alive immediately grounded me and connected me to my own aliveness and the beauty in the world. I found myself spontaneously thanking the plants and the yard, and whomever had tended this yard before us and either allowed these “weeds” to stay or perhaps had purposed planted them in to the lawn. Some days lately I’ve wanted to run away, to another country, another place, another time. But today I am grateful for where I am and where we have landed and the plants and the people and the community we are finding and creating.

Idk about you but I had been feeling heavy lately. The uncertainty and suffering of these times had been putting me in fight or flight and making me feel uneasy and scared. But yesterday I was reminded that COMMUNITY is how we get through these times. And how we not just survive but find ways to thrive and CREATE the world we want for our children and ourselves. I was invited to co lead a full moon (eclipse!) wombyns circle and it was just what my heart and soul needed! We gathered and sang songs and shared around a fire. And we did a grief and gratitude ceremony naming all that is heavy on our hearts and then transforming and shifting the energy to gratitude. And it was BEAUTIFUL. And HEALING! Today I woke up feeling more energized and lighter than I have in weeks! More able to be present with my daughter and feeling more ALIVE and PRESENT to the world. So thank you SiSTARS for the opportunity to lead you. It has been a while since I have led in that way. And my spirit needed that too. After a little over a year immersed in the world of motherhood my spirit needed to remember me, as a Sovereign Sacred Wild Women, separate from my roles as mother, partner/wife, etc. So thank you. Feeling blessed and grateful today 🙏🏽🙌🏽🌈💞🌕

I have started to see clients again! It’s a pretty limited schedule, but being a mom is a full time job so if you want your spot on my table reach out! I am at Thursdays from 2-6pm, which basically means I have space for two clients each Thursday. NEXT AVAILABLE is 2pm Thursday 10/3. I have been doing this for about two months now and have often booked out at least two weeks, so I suggest you plan ahead if you want a massage or a craniosacral session soon! I am also adding two evenings (Monday and Wednesday) at my house in San Souci, near cherrydale, where I will just be seeing one client each evening. For that time slot I do still have MONDAY 9/23 available. Let me know if you want any of those spots!

Fall is in the air, and it’s those precious last days of summer. I hope you all enjoyed a restful long weekend. Season transitions can feel a bit rocky in our body. Maybe you are feeling so ready for the heat to be done. Maybe you feel some grief around the end of summer. Maybe it’s adjusting to new routines and kids return to school. Whatever it is, season transitions are a good time to practice a little extra self care. I’ve got some openings this week. Send me a message if you want to get on the schedule!
