A study published in the South African Journal of Botany (2018) looked into the anti-cancer benefits of strains grow in different areas of the world.

Of the 16 samples, all were effective at killing MCF-7 cancer cells and were cytotoxic at lower concentrations than the drug, doxorubicin.

Cannabis from Denmark and Eastern Cape, South Africa were most effective.

Cannabis from the Czech Republic, Canada, Israel and Lesotho, South Africa were least effective.

The difference in anti-cancer and anti-angiogenic properties was due to the environmental conditions associated with particular geographic regions.

So, cannabis is just like us - we thrive in the right environment. 😊
