Our son played football for two years. He started having difficulty focusing. He struggled in school, and I automatically assumed he was developing ADD. I was planning on taking him to his pediatrician when I met Dr Yonce. He asked if he could do a brain map. We didn't know until Dr. Yonce did the brain map that his struggle with focus and attention was from the blows to the head he had rec'd during football. Dr. Yonce started working with JJ and in about 10 sessions, JJ made a huge jump. He became quick witted, he was writing, he was reading books faster than we could buy them, and his grades improved. We completed the 30 sessions and what a difference the Neurofeedback made. I am so thankful I did not take him to his pediatrician, because more than likely they would have prescribed medication for ADD. I have learned that 1/3 of all children diagnosed with some form of ADD have been misdiagnosed.
