It was not just Phil—our groundhog; Douglas saw his shadow too! With dueling groundhog predictions in mind, our residents got in on the excitement and held their own groundhog races this afternoon. So much fun!

Here in Greenville, we received over a foot of snow — something we are definitely not used to! ❄️ But that did not stop us from providing the care our residents deserve. A huge thank you to our Administrator, Jackie Woolard, for going above and beyond by picking up staff, providing snacks, and staying overnight to ensure everything continued to run smoothly. We are incredibly grateful for our amazing team here at Greenville. Our staff truly cares about our residents, no matter the circumstances.

We are so lucky to have such amazing staff here at Greenville Health and Rehabilitation Center! Last week, we proudly celebrated our Recreation Department during National Activity Professionals Week. They may be called “Activities” or “the fun people,” but to us, they are true superheroes — always zipping and zapping around, spreading joy and putting smiles on everyone’s faces!

We say goodbye (but not farewell forever!) to Evelyn Braddock as she completes her rehab journeyr. Evelyn, we will miss your bright smile, your kind heart, and the joy you brought to everyone around you. You truly lit up our halls—and yes, you danced your way out of here, just like only Evelyn could! Thank you for sharing your strength, positivity, and grace with our staff and residents. Once part of our Greenville family, always part of our Greenville family. 💙 Wishing you continued health, happiness, and lots more dancing wherever life takes you next!

Yesterday, we celebrated National Blueberry Pancake Day by preparing homemade blueberry pancakes for brunch for our residents—and enjoying every bite together.
