Purposed Physical Therapy, Greenville SC

Purposed Physical Therapy, Greenville SC Greenville's highest rated Physical Therapy Clinic for athletes & local individuals who have 1. See our 500+ 5-star Google Reviews.

2.

We have been the #1 Physical Therapy clinic in Greenville since 2019! Every patient gets 1-on-1 treatment with a Doctor of Physical Therapy for an entire 60-70 minutes, every visit.

3. We are in-network with most health insurances, but also have cheap self-pay rates ($80 per visit). This helps patients determine if it is wiser (& cheaper) to use or not use their health insurance.

4. All our physical therapists go through higher-level education (doctorate), obtain certifications/specializations, and attend specific CEU courses prior to working with us. When hired on, they must continue this high standard of professional growth while working here.

5. We are an Orthopedic-Sport PT clinic
--We see young & old, chronic & acute, athletic & non-athletic, and surgical & non-surgical.
--We are unique because we also deal with a lot of higher-level athletes: collegiate, professional (NFL, NBA, NHL, FIFA, MLB, Minor leagues, Runners, etc.), and even currently 10 Olympic athletes (across 6 countries) and 5 Olympic-hopeful athletes. We draw these types of individuals because we have reached national recognition as a clinic. Plus, a few of the physical therapists have previously worked within professional, collegiate, or Olympic level teams/settings.
--We apply the same principals and treatment tools we use for higher-level athletes towards the everyday person, so they can get better just as fast as the higher-level athletes. Many times, patients who have never seen improvements at other PT clinic will make improvements in our clinic.

6. We provide Dry Needling, Blood Flow Restriction Training, Dynamic Cupping, Scrapping, and 3D Running Analysis with no upcharge to patient visits! Our goal is to get people better, not nickel/dime people! So, what we feel like a patient needs to better, they will get!

7. Our website has over 500 injury guides to help individuals get better; even when they are not our patients!

POSTURE Complete Guide!

https://www.purposedphysicaltherapy.com/blog/posture

🤓 Posture, by definition, is the position in which our bodies are held when we sit, stand or lie down. Proper, or posturing, means that we use the most efficient amount of muscle energy to keep our joints aligned against the downward pull of gravity. The least amount of strain is placed on our body when we are in a good posture. If our joints are not properly aligned in good posture, the force of gravity causes excess stress on parts of your joints as well as the ligaments that support them.

This guide will:
1️⃣ Discuss proper posturing and
2️⃣ Provide useful tips for you to avoid injury from poor positioning in sitting, standing and lying.

❗CERVICAL Stenosis❗

https://www.purposedphysicaltherapy.com/Injuries-Conditions/Upper-Back-and-Neck/Upper-Back-Issues/Cervical-Spinal-Stenosis/a~304/article.html

🤓 The spinal cord is a column of nerve tissue protected by a bony tube in the spinal column. Conditions that narrow the space in this tube put the spinal cord at risk of getting squeezed. This narrowing in the spinal column of the neck is called cervical spinal stenosis, or cervical stenosis. Pressure against the spinal cord as a result of spinal stenosis causes myelopathy, a condition that demands medical attention. Myelopathy can cause problems with the bowels and bladder, change the way you walk, and affect your ability to use your fingers and hands.

This guide will help you understand:
1️⃣ What parts make up the spine and neck,
2️⃣ What causes cervical spinal stenosis,
3️⃣ How the condition is diagnosed,
4️⃣ What treatment options are available.
