🌷 Spring is blooming, and so are seasonal allergies. 🤧

If your child is having irritating nose and eye symptoms, breathing difficulties or skin allergies, consider these tips:

💡Stay informed: Check local pollen forecasts regularly so you can plan outdoor activities when pollen levels are lower.

🌿Limit exposure: Reduce contact with allergens by keeping windows closed during high pollen days and limiting time outdoors when counts are at their peak.

💨Use air purifiers: Running an air purifier at home can help remove pollen and other allergens from the air.

💊Take medications as directed: Over-the-counter allergy medications, such as antihistamines or nasal sprays, may help manage symptoms. Follow directions or talk with a provider about what’s best for your child.

March is National Nutrition Month, and we’re sharing tips for parents of picky eaters! 🥦🍓

Many young children go through phases of picky eating, but good nutrition is important for healthy growth and brain development. The good news is: there are simple ways to help kids become more comfortable trying new foods.

Try these tips at home:

✔ Be a role model – Let your child see you eating and enjoying healthy foods.
✔ Offer choices – Let them pick between a few healthy options.
✔ Pair new foods with familiar favorites to make trying them less intimidating.
✔ Keep it fun – Try making funny shapes or faces with food.
✔ Be patient – Kids may need to try a food many times before they like it.
