🏈 Team Player Tuesday at Carevide!🏈

For day 2 of our Spirit Week, our staff showed up in their favorite team gear to celebrate Team Player Tuesday — a fun way to spotlight the collaboration and team spirit that make our care possible every day!

It was also Patient Appreciation Day, and we were proud to say thank you to our patients by sharing snacks in our lobbies as a small token of our gratitude. 💙

At Carevide, our patients are at the heart of everything we do — and it takes a true team to deliver the care and compassion they deserve. 💪

Wednesday of is Health Conditions Focus Day, and we are shining a spotlight on the importance of early detection and preventive care.

Health centers play a critical role in addressing acute and chronic conditions through prevention, early detection, and treatment. This day highlights efforts like vaccinations, cancer screenings, heart health, diabetes care, and managing chronic infectious diseases.

In 2023 alone:
📊 3M patients received diabetes care — 70% reached A1c control
💉 5.7M were treated for high blood pressure — 65% achieved blood pressure control
🥦 9M received obesity care — 72% of youth were screened and counseled on nutrition & activity

This focus day is a great opportunity to emphasize the significance of regular screenings and check-ups. In alignment with this focus, we encourage everyone to learn about the symptoms, risk factors, and screening options available for different health conditions. Empowering ourselves with knowledge is a powerful step toward a healthier community.

🎉 We’re celebrating National Health Center Week with one of our favorite annual traditions with our staff — Spirit Week! Each day, our staff joins in on a themed dress-up day to show off their creativity, teamwork, and love for what we do.

Yesterday, we kicked things off with Colors of Care Day, where our team came dressed out in color. 🌈 We also treated our staff with ice cream sundaes!

Today we celebrate the very heart of what we do — our patients. National Health Center Week highlights the incredible role health centers play in communities across the country in providing high-quality, affordable services to individuals and families who may face significant barriers to care — including lack of insurance, transportation, or income. By being accessible, patient-centered, and community-based, we help bridge the gap for those who might otherwise go without care. Carevide is proud to be part of this nationwide mission — and today is all about honoring our patients!

This week, we celebrate the hardworking and dedicated staff at Carevide and community health centers nationwide who work tirelessly to keep our communities healthy and strong.

What an amazing day we had at Carevide Kaufman's Back to School Bash event! We helped students and families gear up for the school year by providing over 200 kids with backpacks, school supplies, vaccines, and a sweet ice cream treat. 🎒✏️

Our team will also be on-site in the library providing school immunizations, and our Dental team will be offering basic dental screenings. 🦷🩺
