💙 Samaritan Way Greenville Community — We Need Your Help! 💙

As our Greenville location continues to grow, so does our ability to serve. From groups and one-on-ones to community events and fellowship meals, food has become a big part of bringing people together in recovery.

Right now, Samaritan Way Greenville is looking for a donation of a freezer so we can safely store food, build a small stash supply, and continue feeding people at meetings and events. A warm meal and a welcoming place can make all the difference for someone walking through our doors for the first time.

If you or your business has a freezer you’re willing to donate, please send us a message — it would directly impact people seeking hope, help, and healing in our community.

Thank you Greenville for always showing up and supporting recovery. We truly couldn’t do this without you.

What an unforgettable day in Greenville!

We’re overflowing with gratitude after the Grand Opening of the Samaritan Way Drop-In Center. Nearly 200 people came together to celebrate this new space for hope and healing and your support made it truly special.

A huge thank-you to the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce for leading the ribbon-cutting and to our incredible community partners who share in the mission of recovery and support, Montcalm Care Network, Michigan Addiction Recovery Alliance, Samaritas, Corewell Health, and the Ionia County Adult Recovery Court. Your presence and partnership mean so much.

The Drop-In Center is more than a building, it’s a welcoming space where people can connect, find support, and take their next steps toward recovery and stability. If you or someone you know could use a place to talk, rest, or learn about local resources, we’re here for you.
Stop by, reach out, or share our story, because when we come together, hope grows. 💛

At Samaritan Way, people sometimes ask why we check in on social media and ask, “Do you need help?” nearly every every single day.

Because needs change.Because yesterday’s strength can feel like today’s struggle.Because sometimes the hardest words to say are, “Yes… I do.”

Recovery isn’t a straight line. Some days people feel strong and hopeful. Other days feel heavy, lonely, and overwhelming. By asking every day, we create a space where it’s always okay to be honest …without shame, without judgment, and without fear of being a burden.

Sometimes the person who said “I’m good” yesterday is barely holding on today. And sometimes knowing someone will ask is the very thing that keeps someone going.

❤️ If you’re reading this and you need help today — even if you didn’t yesterday — please reach out. You don’t have to have the right words. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to take the first step.

We’re here. Every day. For you.

Many people never imagined they would struggle with substance use disorder — yet today, more and more individuals are finding themselves trapped by products like Kratom and 7OH.These substances are becoming known by some as “gas station heroin” because of their powerful addictive properties and how easy they are to obtain. What often begins as a search for more energy, focus, or what feels like “safer” pain relief can quickly turn into something much harder to control. Many people report intense, painful, and agonizing withdrawal symptoms when they try to stop.

If you or someone you love feels stuck, please know this: You are not alone, and there is a way out.

At Samaritan Way, we are here to walk alongside you — without judgment — and help you find real solutions for lasting recovery and freedom from the bo***ge these substances can create.

If you need help, reach out.
We will help you find a path forward.
We will help you find hope again.

💙 Community Happens When We Lift Each Other Up 💙 with Family Life Center Church of God.

At Samaritan Way, we believe recovery and stability are built on strong community support — and today we’re honored to highlight an incredible opportunity being offered right here in our community.

Family Life Center is investing in families by offering scholarships for their after-school childcare program. This isn’t just childcare — it’s a safe, structured, and positive environment where kids can grow, learn, and be supported while parents work, attend appointments, or continue building a stable future.

For many families, especially those navigating recovery, financial hardship, or life transitions, access to safe and reliable childcare can be life-changing. It creates space for healing, employment, education, and hope.

Opportunities like this remind us that real community support means caring for the whole family — not just the individual.

If you or someone you know could benefit from after-school support, we encourage you to learn more about Family Life Center and their scholarship opportunities.

✨ When we support families, we strengthen our entire community.✨ When children have safe spaces to grow, futures change.
