We had a busy day filled with lots of love:

Greenville Elementary & PTA donated cozy socks to all of our residents! 🥰
Arcanum middle school made the cutest cards and baked us all delicious coffee cake 🩷
And We loved welcoming students from Decolores Montessori School who shared their voices and orchestra with our residents. Such a joyful and special afternoon.

Thank you to our local schools for the kindness and generosity you share with Oakley Place. Seeing our residents light up because of your thoughtfulness is something we never take for granted.

Tonight was a reminder of how much there is to be thankful for. Celebrating Christmas together as a community—surrounded by residents, families, and staff—filled our hearts in the best way. We are truly blessed to share this season with such incredible people. 🎄✨

We are so grateful for the kindness shown to our residents this season. The VA visited and gifted our veterans cozy Christmas blankets, a meaningful reminder of how much their service is appreciated.

We were also blessed by the Tri-Village High School students who filled our halls with beautiful Christmas carols and so much joy. Moments like these truly make the season special for our Oakley Place family. ❤️🎄

🎶❤️ Thank You, Darke County Seniors! ❤️🎶

A heartfelt thank you to the Darke County seniors for coming out to carol for our residents yesterday. Your voices, kindness, and holiday spirit brought so much joy to our home. We truly appreciate you sharing your time and warmth with us.

(12/10/2025) Approximately 20 seniors including Santa and Mrs. Claus had a fabulous time Christmas Caroling at 3 different assisted living facilities. The group visited Oakley Place, Brookdale, and Village Green taking cookies from the Cookie Exchange to the staff and giving each resident a soft pair of bed socks.
Thanks to all who sang, with a special thanks to Sue Mills, Joan Ritz, and Janet Clemens for organizing the event.
