Your Childbirth Journey, LLC Comprehensive Childbirth Education in Upstate South Carolina. A four-week class series promoting a natural, safe and healthy approach to childbirth.

As an expectant mother, you may be feeling anxious and excited about all of the changes going on with your body and your life and overwhelmed by the amount of literature about pregnancy, childbirth, and motherhood. You may be interested in natural childbirth but you aren't quite sure how to prepare yourself for that experience. You and your birth partner might like to dedicate some quality time together to learn more about the birth journey in a safe and comfortable setting. You have come to the right place. Whether you are specifically interested in learning tools for a natural childbirth, or you would like to feel more educated in the many different scenarios that labor and birth can present, the childbirth classes I offer can help you meet your goals. I am trained as a Lamaze Childbirth Educator, and I emphasize the normal birth process as well as the importance of a birth partner in meeting your birthing goals. I believe that, with the proper education and support, all expectant mothers can begin motherhood with a sense of accomplishment and pride in their birth journey. The experience that my husband and I had preparing for the birth of our first daughter was transformative. We grew as individuals and as a team and ultimately felt empowered and excited to journey through our labor together. By investing in a birth education course, we set aside the time together to learn and plan for what would become one of the most important and meaningful experiences of our lives. I love helping to make that difference in the lives of other pregnant women and their birth partners. As a Licensed Independent Social Worker, I have combined my clinical and personal experience to bring to life my passion for educating, preparing and empowering pregnant women and their families to make the best choices regarding their pregnancy, birth and baby. My childbirth education classes will provide you with ideas, information, and inspiration to create your birthing journey.
