Today we celebrate 21 years of service to Cindy Hitchcock. From running the office, working a truck, ordering snacks, and keeping the operations manager in line she truely keeps the service afloat! Happy Birthday to our exceptional leader, David! You set a remarkable example by consistently going above and beyond for your family, employees, and community. Your dedication to staying informed, as demonstrated by your radio listening habits, even at home, and your willingness to make personal sacrifices, such as sleeping at the office during snowstorms with your crews, is commendable. Today we were able to surprise one of our legends, Chris “Yardbird” Yarbrough with a luncheon at his favorite place and with some of his favorite people, we missed those who couldn’t make it. We celebrated 30 yrs of memories, friendships and were able to show how truly lucky we are to have someone like Yardbird dedicate 30 yrs to Hunt Co EMS and the citizens of Hunt Co. He has played many roles from EMT, Paramedic, FTO, CCT Paramedic and Supervisor over those 30 yrs. But the one that means the most to us, is friend. Congratulations Yardbird, here’s to many more! Thank you to Greenville Trophies & Awards for the plaque and Little Lone Star for the flag.

We have a fellow supervisor that has hit a major milestone in EMS. Today marks 30 years for Chris “Yardbird”Yarbrough that he has been serving the citizens of Hunt County, longer than many of our employees have been alive. Thank you to our crews,the community and Walmart Greenville - Interstate Highway 30 for another successful Fill the Box Food Drive. We raised over $800 and collected 2,886 lbs of food that we donated to Hunt County Shared Ministries Monday morning. This will help them with their Holiday Baskets that they are putting together this week.

Our friends at Greenville Fire-Rescue, TX don’t have a station dog, so we let them come play with the EMS dog.

AMR- Hunt County EMS provides 911 coverage, for over 882 square miles for Hunt County. We provide bike team coverage for special events throughout the year. As well as search and rescue dog team that consist of 6 Hunt Co EMS employees and their bloodhounds to provide assistance with missing persons within Hunt county and surrounding counties. HCEMS prides itself on community involvement with Heroes Night, Shattered Dreams Programs, Bicycle Rodeo, Fill the Box Food Drive, Monthly CE’s as well as quarterly classes are provided.
