Finished celebrating my birthday with my family tonight with a home made pizza night and a sweet potato cake from brick street 🤤 love my little fam 🥹😍 on my actual birthday I was spoiled with a BFF breakfast with my favorite who gifted me my new reading material , had a fabulous day of spoiling at the , and finished my day at with the husband! I have been spoiled to have my birthday celebrating last for so many days! Thanks to everyone who went out of their way to wish me a happy birthday with a text or message, stopped by and visited me or surprised me with a beautiful treat 🥰 ya’ll know how to make a girl feel loved❤️

To share our Madi winks we made ducks like this to hide on our cruise. Our entire family took turns placing these little ducks around the boat. Reagan kept her string backpack loaded at all times until the last duck was placed. Our friends the Marchant’s are also going on a cruise and with them is going a little load of Madi winks. I hope these ducks will bring them as much joy to hide as they did for us🥹 Oh and find yourself some friends who will go along with your little plans your rope them into to help bring your grieving heart some joy ❤️

A friend told me that we would get “Madi winks” so I find myself looking for the next one to cherish. She liked music by Zach Bryan and she liked the color orange. Tonight on my way home she was on my mind and just as I pulled into my driveway this song came on as I put it in park. I sit in my car in my own driveway to let my tears fall and cherish my Madi wink. “Something in the orange tells me you’re never coming home” 😭 We are all still learning to navigate our new life without her but she’s never far from our minds. Hug your family extra and don’t take anytime for granted you really don’t know if you will get a next summer.
