šŸ’¬ Advocacy: Protecting Care Close to Home

Family Health depends on the 340B Drug Pricing Program to keep essential services available for our community—services like dental care, behavioral health, clinical pharmacy, and medication assistance.

Without 340B savings, these services would be reduced or disappear, especially in rural areas like Darke County.

🌿 Why 340B matters to you and our community:

• It keeps healthcare affordable for families—regardless of income.
• It helps us reinvest savings directly into patient care.
• It protects local access to the services our patients rely on every day.
• It ensures we can continue providing compassionate, comprehensive care right here at home.

āš ļøThere has been recent misinformation circulating about 340B. Here’s the truth:
Family Health follows strict federal rules, reinvesting every dollar of 340B savings back into patient care—not profit.

Advocacy isn’t political—it’s personal. It’s about protecting the care our community depends on. If you’d like to share your Family Health story or join our advocacy efforts, we’d love to connect with you.

🌱 Caring for students where they learn.

At Family Health, our School-Based Behavioral Health providers meet students right in their schools to offer counseling and emotional support when it’s needed most.

These services help kids and teens manage stress, emotions, and life changes—and have been shown to improve focus, relationships, and attendance.

Our licensed counselors collaborate with teachers, families, and healthcare providers to create a circle of care that supports each student’s mental and emotional well-being.

Contact us today if you’re a parent, guardian, or educator who wants to connect a student with school-based counseling or learn more about partnering with our program.

ā¤ļø Your heart tells a story—make sure you’re listening.

An EKG (electrocardiogram) is a quick, painless test that records your heart’s electrical activity. It can detect irregular rhythms, signs of heart disease, or monitor how medications or medical conditions are affecting your heart.

EKGs are often recommended if you have chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, or a family history of heart disease—but they’re also an important tool for preventive care.

Contact us today if your provider has recommended heart testing or if you’d like to schedule an EKG at Family Health.
