This session is designed for individuals living with sickle cell disease (ages 15+), offering a space to build advocacy skills, connect with others, and take part in a hands-on art experience.

This World Hemophilia Day, the focus is clear: “Diagnosis: First Step to Care.”

Right now, more than 75% of people with hemophilia worldwide remain undiagnosed, along with many others living with bleeding disorders. Without diagnosis, access to care simply doesn’t exist. Changing that starts with stronger education, better resources, and a shared commitment to improving outcomes.

Through global collaboration and initiatives like the One Family Program, the community is coming together to challenge limits, empower individuals, and move closer to a future where treatment is accessible for all! ❤️❤️

ECU Health Comprehensive Sickle Cell Program presents... Warrior Wellness: Expression through Art and Advocacy on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 12:00 pm- 3:00 pm at Colours Splatter Studio, 3004 S Memorial Drive, Greenville, NC. 🎨✨

This session is for individuals living with sickle cell disease (ages 15 and up) and will be an opportunity for you to learn needed advocacy skills, connect with peers, and engage in an interactive art activity.
