Are you a parent who feels stuck in cycles of frustration, guilt, or overwhelm and wanting a more connected way to show up for your child?

We will be reading Good Inside by Dr. Becky Kennedy, designed to help you better understand your child’s behavior while also shifting your own patterns.

This book club is for parents who are ready to move beyond reactivity and toward more calm, intentional connection.

Together we will:
• Explore the belief that children are inherently “good”
• Learn to separate identity from behavior
• Break old parenting habits through reflection and practice
• Build supportive community with other parents

Every relationship has an Emotional Bank Account, a concept from Drs. John and Julie Gottman. 💛

Small moments of connection such as a kind word, a gentle touch, or turning toward your partner are deposits.
Criticism, distance, and unresolved hurt become withdrawals.
During seasons like infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, or reproductive loss, couples often find themselves making more withdrawals than deposits simply because stress is high and emotions feel overwhelming.

At Reproductive Journey, we help couples intentionally rebuild and strengthen their Emotional Bank Account, especially during life-changing transitions. Through guided conversations, practical tools for repair, and space to process grief or navigate change together, we support you in restoring connection, deepening understanding, and protecting your partnership through your reproductive journey.

Your relationship deserves care too.

Love isn’t loud.
It’s resilience.
It’s self-compassion.
It’s showing up, again and again.
It's holding space for ourselves, for each other, and for whatever each day brings.

1 in 10 dads experience depression or anxiety during the perinatal period, with symptoms often peaking 3–6 months after birth, a time when support can fade and expectations rise.

Dads don’t always show sadness; many men experience emotional struggles through irritability or anger, withdrawal, increased risk-taking, alcohol use, or overworking.

Risk increases with lack of emotional support, relationship stress, sleep deprivation, financial pressure, and especially when a partner is experiencing postpartum depression or anxiety.

At Reproductive Journey, we recognize that dads are often expected to be “the strong one,” which can make it harder to ask for help or even recognize what’s happening. Support matters, and dads deserve it too.

Untreated paternal mental health challenges can affect bonding with the baby, partner relationships, and long-term child development.

We’re here to offer a safe, non-judgmental space where fathers can talk, process, and receive support through this major life transition. You’re not weak for struggling. You’re not alone. Help is available for dads, too.

Today we recognize Parent Mental Health Day, a reminder that parents deserve care, understanding, and support.

Parenting can be deeply meaningful, but it can also be demanding, exhausting, and overwhelming. Many parents carry stress quietly, feeling pressure to cope, to know the answers, and to keep going, even when it’s hard. It’s easy to forget that this journey is new, complex, and constantly evolving.

Burnout can happen when love and responsibility leave little room for rest or self-care. Taking a moment to pause, reflect, and acknowledge your own efforts matters more than you may realize.

At Reproductive Journey, we’re here to support parents through every stage, because you don’t have to navigate this path alone.

This Parent Mental Health Day and beyond, may it be a reminder to extend kindness to yourself. Give yourself grace. Honor how far you’ve come. Supporting your own wellbeing is not a weakness, it’s an essential part of the journey.
