In a world where everyone wants to give their opinions on everything, just know that as parents, we don’t have to. Our kids & teens don’t need to hear it 24/7. I’m not saying it’s never necessary. I’m saying it isn’t always necessary.

He jokingly told me he didn’t need to receive hate from me on his pants and we laughed about it and moved on with our life. It’s amazing to me how many things that we, as parents, can turn into a big deal. Not everything is that serious.
