                                            We are so excited to announce that Sarah Cotterman, Ed.S, LPCA, NCC has joined our therapist team.
Sarah is a child and adolescent therapist focused on creating a safe, compassionate space where children and teens feel seen, heard, and empowered to express themselves authentically. She specializes in working with children using Child-Centered Play Therapy and Expressive Arts as well as cognitive-based therapies. Whether working through anxiety, behavioral challenges, trauma, or life transitions, Sarah helps young clients develop a positive self-concept, build emotional resilience, and create healthy coping strategies. She incorporates working with families by using neuroscience and attachment theory to help them understand the “why” behind behaviors.
Sarah holds an Ed.S. in Counselor Education with a focus on Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Carolina. She has extensive trauma-informed training and holds a certificate in play therapy. She is working toward becoming a Registered Play Therapist. 
She has current openings for in-person sessions at our Greenville office for children and parents.
