How well and how fast you're able to walk as you get older, can predicts how long you'll live.
It has to do with the aging of the fascial network, the connective tissue of the body.
What causes us to move more slowly is loss of the suppleness, hydration, and resilience of the fascial network. Fascia can get stiffer as we age, and gradually rob us of our freedom of movement.
When fascia gets stiffer, it loses the ability to slide and stretch which disrupts balance and the ability to move freely.
Fortunately, there are ways to reverse this trend through Yoga Therapy. www.YogaTherapyNow.com
