❤️ High Blood Pressure Education Month ❤️

May is High Blood Pressure Education Month, a great time to raise awareness about the importance of keeping blood pressure in a healthy range. High blood pressure often has no symptoms, which is why it is sometimes called the “silent condition,” but it can increase the risk of serious health concerns if left unmanaged.

Ways to Support Healthy Blood Pressure:
1️⃣ Eat a balanced diet Focus on fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins while limiting salt and processed foods
2️⃣ Stay active Regular movement like walking, light exercise, or chair activities can help support heart health
3️⃣ Take medications as prescribed Always follow your healthcare provider’s instructions and never skip doses
4️⃣ Manage stress Relaxation techniques, hobbies, and social time can all help reduce stress levels
5️⃣ Limit caffeine and alcohol These can sometimes contribute to higher blood pressure in some individuals
6️⃣ Get regular checkups Monitoring blood pressure helps catch changes early and keeps you informed

Taking small daily steps can make a big difference in protecting your heart and overall health. Awareness is the first step toward prevention and wellness.

💚A Beautiful Homecoming Story 💚

We are so happy to celebrate a special moment as one of our residents returns home to be reunited with her husband!

After working hard in therapy and reaching her goals, she is now able to get back to what she loves most, being together and enjoying life side by side. One of their favorite things to do is sit down and play cards, sharing laughs, conversation, and time well spent together.

It’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do. Helping residents regain independence and return to the people and activities they love most is truly the best reward.

Wishing them both many more card games and cherished memories at home ♠️♥️
