A hospital stay can feel overwhelming for a child. Our Child Life team helps make those moments easier through comfort, preparation, play and support for our patients and their families.

Their work can be seen in meaningful moments each day, from the Halo Hall of Fame and patient celebrations to pet therapy and so much more.

Almost 10 days ago, “The Walking Shriner,” Eric Morabito, set out on foot from Hickory, North Carolina, with one mission: to raise awareness and support for Shriners Children’s Greenville 🥾

Yesterday, smiling wide as he reached his destination, Eric arrived at our hospital after completing an incredible 166-mile journey.
