The purpose of PT Club is to represent the physical therapy profession on the East Carolina University campus and to promote the physical therapy profession locally, statewide, and nationally through academic, social and civic service. A group of 3rd year students in the Pediatrics Special Topics course went over to to explore their space and practice pediatric interventions. They practiced designing goals and interventions for pediatric case scenarios and explored the therapy gyms to discuss what equipment they would use for each scenario.

During their prior visit there, they had a lecture from an Occupational Therapist on sensory regulation vs behavior seeking and how we can best address these needs during our PT sessions. We greatly appreciate our partnership with local clinics and the opportunity to practice case studies in a real life scenario💜💛
