📣 ESRC Schedule Update for Wednesday, 2/4

The ESRC will be open 8 AM – 8 PM this Wednesday.
🏊‍♂️ Please note: The pool will close at 7 PM.

💪 Group Fitness classes and Club Sport practices at the ESRC will resume as scheduled.

🚫 The Health Sciences Center, North Recreation Complex, and Blount Sports Complex will remain closed.

✨ If you plan to travel to the ESRC, please be cautious—some sidewalks and roadways may still be snowy.

The ESRC will open today from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm (pool closing at 5:00 pm). Please use caution if headed to the gym as sidewalks and roads remain icy.

Well here we are. Today is the big day. We will officially bring the iconic tradition that is Polar Bear Plunge to an end. 🐻‍❄️

While we are sad to see it come to an end, we are looking forward to find new ways to celebrate the Eakin Student Recreation Center (ESRC.) The Final Polar Bear Plunge is open to students, alumni, faculty and staff.

We hope to see you all tonight at 5:30 p.m. for the first jump!

The Eakin Student Recreation Center will close at 4:00 p.m. and re-open at 5:00 p.m.

Jumpers this year will receive this one-of-a-kind custom deck of cards along with a long sleeve t-shirt. *While supplies last*
There is no waiver this year. Just suit up and get ready to take the plunge!

Don't want to jump? You can still come out and enjoy free food, games, music and watch others take the plunge!

We will see you all this Friday, Jan. 30 at 5:30 p.m. for the first jump. Don't miss your chance to say you participated in this iconic tradition! 🐻‍❄️
