We want to make our community aware of recent scam advertisements circulating online that falsely promise payments of up to $6,000 for asthma research studies. These advertisements are not legitimate and are not affiliated with our study site.
Please be cautious as scammers may use appealing offers or urgent messaging to collect personal or financial information. Legitimate clinical research studies do not guarantee large payments upfront and will not require you to provide sensitive information, such as Social Security numbers or bank details, in order to participate.
Our site is committed to ethical research practices and participant safety. While we do offer compensation for patients that participate in research studies, we do not advertise our compensation amounts online nor promote this as the sole purpose for participating.

If you are not located near the Greenville, SC area, we encourage you to look for opportunities through trusted and accredited sources, such as:
- ClinicalTrials.gov
