Honored to have Dr. Shakir join the faculty at American-European Congress of Ophthalmic Surgery (AECOS) meeting...one of the most prestigious gatherings of surgical innovators in the world.

AECOS brings together the most forward-thinking and accomplished ophthalmic surgeons from both sides of the Atlantic to share breakthroughs, debate surgical pearls, and push the field forward. It was an incredible experience exchanging ideas and strategies for tackling some of the most complex and challenging cases in cataract and retina surgery.
