Our Story

HealthFirst is a medical practice that blends the best of traditional and alternative medicine with compassion and genuine concern at their offices in Greenwood Village, Colorado, and Cheyenne, Wyoming. Led by holistic medicine physician, Jonathan W. Singer, DO, the team takes care to give each patient his personal attention and dedicates the time needed to get to the cause of complex issues. Dr. Singer received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in food chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Madison, Wisconsin. During that time, he invented an alternative to the food colorant Yellow No. 5, creating a natural option that’s now standard in the food industry. After graduating with honors from the College of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, Iowa, Dr. Singer was among the first physicians in the United States to become board certified in holistic medicine.

The pioneers in this group are acknowledged as the developers of the standard and scientific basis for alternative medicine. Dr. Singer is board certified in family practice and holistic medicine. He is also board eligible in medical acupuncture, homeopathy, and environmental medicine. Dr. Singer is actively involved in many professional organizations, including the American Osteopathic Association, the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the American College for Advancement in Medicine. He served as a national delegate to the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.

Dr. Singer is also a past president of the Wyoming Osteopathic Medical Society and a past member of the American Academy of Environmental Medicine.
