But we keep saying it is genetic!

No they didn't inherit bad genetics from their parents...

They inherited bad HABITS like eating poorly.

Show me an overweight child and I will show you and overweight parent.

What you are seeing here in some fashion is the average American children's diet.

Void of nutrients.
Void of protein.
Void of anything beneficial.

High in processed food.
High in sugar.

Then parents will say, little Timmy has ADHD and cannot focus so we medicate him for that!!

Pure madness.

When children eat this, it hits their little system so hard, and you let them do this day after day.

How about let's fix his diet.

As a health coach I wont let my kids touch this stuff not even once and awhile at a friend's birthday party.

Enter all the comments about moderation blah blah blah.

As a parent, you have the power to lead your child. If you choose not to because it is easy, you are setting them up for failure for major health issues in the future, that's entirely on you, not your doctor, not a medication, not great grandma, you!

Yea this gets me fired up because it is a fixable problem but parents want to rely on excuses.
