The North Adams County Senior Expo is coming up and it is always a fun event with great energy, lots of resources, and plenty of friendly faces.

What would you do if the hospital told you your parent had to discharge tomorrow?

Your mom falls and breaks her hip.

After surgery the hospital case manager tells you she is ready to discharge.

You are handed a list of senior living communities and told to start calling.

You have never toured a community before.
You do not know the difference between assisted living and memory care.
You do not know which communities actually have availability.

So you choose the first community that answers the phone.

Two weeks later you learn the community cannot support her level of care.

Now she has to move again.

What would you do?
