If you have been following along Sarah’s journey the last week, you will be excited to see her before and after results. Sarah had a Ladner Lift, our signature lower deep plane facelift and deep plane neck lift procedure and she also had an upper blepharoplasty, in addition to a fat transfer (using fat from her outer thigh) to her under eyes, medial cheek area, and temples.

Her transformation speaks for itself and we are very pleased with her results. Her eyelids no longer have a “hooding effect” since we removed the extra skin, she no longer has under eye hollowness as we were able to transfer fat to this area, and she no longer has the appearance of jowls. If you swipe the the last photo, you’ll notice Sarah’s incisions are invisible and no longer noticeable.

Part II of Sarah’s 6 week post op, we sit down with her and discuss how the entire journey has been for her. You can see that she is radiating with confidence and feels happy to be in herself, but back to that younger looking version. Sarah is back in the office for her 6 week follow up appointment. We are discussing how the healing process has been for her from start to finish. You last saw her at her first week follow up, and today she shares more about her experience and recovery from the first few weeks.

Sarah shares that the first week wasn’t the best week, but by day 4 or 5 she was up and moving around. She had concerns with swelling at week 2, but by weeks 3-5 she started noticing everything going back to normal and started loving her results.

We share up close what her incision areas look like. There is a little light pinkness but overall incisions are concealed and not really noticeable which is great for week 6! As Sarah says herself, we are both very pleased with her results!

Sarah is back in the office for her 1 week follow up and we just removed all of her stitches. Sarah shares with us how her first week of recovery went. She described the week as a bit of a roller coaster with pain and emotionally, but overall the pain was not unbearable. By day 4 she was feeling more back to normal. By day 7, pain is very minimal and spirits are very high!

Dr. Ladner explains Sarah’s healing and recovery leading up to this point and what Sarah can expect to come in the upcoming days. We have officially wrapped up Sarah’s surgery and now Dr. Ladner is ready for a post-op surgery breakdown.

We harvested fat from Sarah’s outer thighs to her under eye, medial cheek area, and temples. We did a conservative skin removal of her upper eyelids (upper blepharoplasty) and finished with the Ladner Lift, our signature deep plane lower facelift accompanied by a deep plane facelift.

Everything went exactly as planned and was a very smooth surgery! Sarah is now wrapped up like a mummy, she has no drains, and is going to feel really tight in her face and neck. We can’t wait to share Sarah’s 1 week follow up appointment with you next!

Dr. Ladner shows us what one side of Sarah’s face looks like with the completion of the fat transfer to the under eye hollowing and medial cheek area. You can see a significant difference and can already tell she is going to have an amazing result. You will also notice the upper blepharoplasty has also been completed on both sides.

Dr. Ladner also showcases how he injects the fat into Sarah’s temples to provide a very natural and subtle result to remove the hollowing of her temples and just kind of fill in that area with a little bit of natural volume.

Dr. Ladner shares in detail about the fat harvest for Sarah’s under eyes and temporal areas. As you can see in the video, he takes the fat directly from her own body, specifically her outer thigh. He discusses each step of the fat transfer and shares exactly how he transfers it from her thigh to her under eyes using a cannula technique.

Once he wraps up the fat transfer, Dr. Ladner then moves onto her upper blepharoplasty and discusses how she will benefit from this upper eyelid procedure for decades to a lifetime.

𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗝𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗬 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧 𝟭 — 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧 𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗛, 𝟰𝟰

Sarah specifically wants a more vertical lift, remove her jowls, and tighten underneath her chin and neck area, which we will address with our signature lower deep plane facelift and neck lift — also known as the Ladner Lift. We are targeting the hollowing of her under eyes and medial cheek area with a fat transfer taken directly from her own body. Lastly, she is concerned about the hooding of her eyelids and would like that to be addressed with an upper blepharoplasty procedure.

Sarah doesn’t need crazy, drastic changes — she just needs subtle, natural changes to achieve the results she is looking for and still looking like her self; just a younger version again.
