The irony of coming across this post while scrolling is not lost on me, but hear me out! We’ve all been there. Saying we’re taking a “quick break,” whipping out our phone, and next thing you know 30 minutes have gone by. Our phones are great at entertaining us, but scrolling through social media isn’t always the best way to really recharge.
So here are some quick, screen-free ways to mentally reset:
🔹Step out for some fresh air (work parking lots count!)
🔹Do a quick stretch or movement break (listen to your smart watch)
🔹Listen to music without any distractions
🔹Try that grounding or deep breathing exercise your therapist told you about
Our brains deserve a real break every once in awhile. Drop your favorite way to reset without using your phone, then put down your phone and go do it!
