Look at these beautiful bursts of color! Our residents got creative with tie-dye, folding, twisting, and choosing color combos to make something uniquely theirs. Itā€™s always inspiring to see their designs come to life!

Why we love craft time (besides how gorgeous everything looks):

Keeps Motor Skills Sharp: The process of tying, twisting, squeezing dye, and washing out fabric gives fingers and hands a workout. These kinds of fine motor tasks help maintain dexterity and coordination.

Mental Boost: Making decisions (what pattern, what color), following steps, seeing the resultā€”these all stimulate the brain, helping with memory, focus, and executive function.

Mood & Well-Being: Creative activities are calming, fun, and give a great sense of accomplishment. They help reduce stress, promote joy, and strengthen self-esteem.

Social Connection: Whether chatting about colors, helping each other, or sharing tips, craft activities are wonderful for building friendships and community.
