SPACE treatment is a parent-based treatment program for children and adolescents with anxiety, OCD, and related problems. SPACE does not require the participation of the child in treatment, but rather focuses on working with the child's parents or caregivers on responding supportively to the child's anxiety or OCD while reducing parental accommodations. Thrilled to share that I have received a scholarship from Postpartum Support International - Indiana Chapter to attend the Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy Training in April. Once I have completed this training I will be eligible to apply to be certified through Postpartum Support International as a PMH-C, the first recognized certification in Perinatal Mental Health.

Kicking off day two of the Postpartum Support International perinatal mood disorders: components of care training. Lots of great information on perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and strategies for supporting clients facing postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, and psychosis. Looking forward to applying this new knowledge in my practice!
