The animal tranquilizer Xylazine is making fentanyl drug overdose crisis even deadlier.

Xylazine and fentanyl drug mixtures place users at a higher risk of suffering a fatal drug poisoning. The DEA's Laboratory System is reporting that in 2022 approximately 23% of fentanyl powder and 7% of fentanyl pills seized by the DEA contained xylazine.

In honor of today being National Trivia Day, here is some general trivia about Greenwood Treatment Specialists:

-We accept new patients on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 5am until 8am.
-Our medication programs include Methadone, Subutex, and Suboxone.
-Currently, we accept Medicare and Medicaid Part B PPO plans.
-Our dosing hours are from 5am to 10am, but counselors are available to call and speak with until 11am.
