Allie Neal, PTA, is now an LSVT BIG® Certified Clinician ready to serve our community!

LSVT BIG is an evidence-based treatment program designed specifically for individuals with Parkinson’s disease. It focuses on training patients to use bigger, more intentional movements in their everyday life. Because Parkinson’s often causes movements to become smaller, slower, and less coordinated, this program helps retrain the brain and body to move with improved amplitude.

Through structured, high-intensity sessions and repeated functional tasks, LSVT BIG can help improve:
• Walking speed and stride length
• Balance and stability
• Posture and coordination
• Ease with daily activities like getting up, dressing, and turning.

Elevate was recently invited to Planters Bank to discuss posture and workplace ergonomics. Employees learned practical ways to improve their workstation setup and were given simple exercises to do after long periods of sitting. Elevate had a great time at the Health Fair hosted by Pillow Academy’s 7th grade class.

The students had fun getting hands-on and engaging with some of our treatment techniques. It’s always nice to learn, while having fun! We love opportunities to connect with the next generation and share what we do.
