Before you fire up the BBQ or jump in the pool, remember:

1️⃣ Smoke is no joke. Smoke and intense heat from the grill can cause painful dry eye and irritation. Stand back and let the breeze carry the smoke away from your face.
2️⃣ Ditch the contacts. Swimming in contacts is a recipe for infection. Take them out before you dive in, or wear airtight goggles to keep the water out.

Tell us you have spring allergies without telling us you have spring allergies. 🤧🌳

We’ll go first: Our eye drop bottles are never more than arm’s reach away, and we’ve mastered the "don't-rub-your-eyes" finger tap.

In all seriousness, rubbing your eyes actually releases more histamines, making the itch even worse. It’s a vicious cycle! Instead of rubbing, try chilled artificial tears for a soothing "reset" button.

STOP! 🛑 Don’t use your shirt to clean your glasses!

We’ve all done it, but here’s why you shouldn't:
1️⃣ Dust Trap: Your clothes pick up tiny particles of dust and grit that scratch the lens.
2️⃣ Fiber Damage: Standard fabrics are too abrasive for modern lens coatings.
3️⃣ Smear City: You’re usually just moving oils around rather than removing them.

The Fix: Lukewarm water, a drop of lotion-free dish soap, and a clean microfiber cloth. Done. 🧼

Even without glasses, you still need an optometrist to check for:
1️⃣ Glaucoma (the silent thief)
2️⃣ Retinal tears or thinning
3️⃣ Changes in eye pressure
4️⃣ Dry eye symptoms
