I've said it 20 times over..... Digital addiction is a real thing!

Research shows that increased time spent on social media may lead people to experience depression, stress, negative emotions and unhealthy comparisons. Yet social media has become such a large part of people’s lives that for many, it is their single most important relationship.

Counselors can help clients increase their awareness of how that relationship makes them feel, learn to manage that relationship and strengthen their sense of control over social media.

I remember when I used to feel guilty for resting...smh...I just felt I always had to have something to do...work to do..this and that to work on. As I've continued to work on me, I realized it's ok to just stop to relax, relate, release. 💚
