Self Memorial Hospital FCU will be opened normal hours Friday, January 10, 2025, and close at 11:00AM. We will continue monitoring the weather and update everyone if the closing time changes. The safety of our members and staff is our priority. Thank you for supporting SMH FCU!

We will be OPEN on Friday, January 10th, weather pending! We plan to open since the storm is not expected until about 11. We will monitor conditions and keep the safety of our members and our staff in mind. If conditions become unfavorable, we may close early... Stay tuned!

CPW had to take down a circuit to protect the linemen while they work. Our power will not be restored until after 5. We will be open tomorrow at regular time. Thanks for understanding.

Self Memorial Hospital FCU is offering Disaster Loan Deferments. Members will not have to pay a fee for loan deferments. Self Memorial Hospital FCU will offer deferments on loan payments for up to 30 days. These deferments will only be done for those that are in good standing with the credit union. If your loan is delinquent and a deferment is approved, this does not mean that it will bring your loan current.

Self Memorial Hospital FCU will also be offering members Disaster Recovery Loans. These loans can be up to $2,500.00 with lower interest rates. Standard underwriting will not apply, however your loyalty, account history and ability to pay will be a factor. Remember, we will need your two recent paystubs if you are applying.

Local Resources Available to You:

Greenwood Family YMCA (1760 Calhoun Rd) is open to the public for showers, phone charging, and Wi-Fi access from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Salvation Army (222 Pressley Ave) is open from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. for phone charging and will distribute food boxes from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday while supplies last.

Debris Removal: Contact the Storm Debris Hotline to answer question 864-321-1098 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. After 5 p.m. leave a voicemail and they will contact you as soon as possible.

Uptown Fountain (418 Main St.) T-Mobile charging station will be available 24 hours a day.

Volunteer and Donation Information:
The United Way of the Lakelands is handling volunteer coordination and donations. If you would like to volunteer in recovery efforts or make a donation, please call the United Way at 864-854-9038.

Can arrange transportation via ambulance to medical needs shelters for individuals who need oxygen.

Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) approved Individual Assistance program help to Greenwood and some surrounding counties. That means that direct financial assistance is available for residents who incurred uninsured damages to their property because of the storm.
Individuals and business owners who sustained losses in the designated areas can begin applying for assistance by registering online at www.disasterassistance.gov by calling 1-800-621- 3362 or by using the FEMA App. If you use a relay service, such as video relay service (VRS), captioned telephone service, or others, give FEMA the number for that service.
