A few of our employees have had a busy week in Capitol Hill at the National Association of Community Health Centers Policy & Issues Forum! π
Day 1 was arrival day where they joined presentations and speeches from National Association of Community Health Centers staff and Thomas J. Engels, the Administrator from the Health Resources & Services Administration.

Day 2 included hearing from CMS Administrator Dr. Oz Dr. Mehmet Oz, the Administrator from Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr, Secretary of the US Department of Health and Human Services, U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders Bernie Sanders, Ranking Member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.

Day 3 of the , our employees met with multiple representatives to advocate not only for Carolina Health Centers, but for all community health centers across the nation! Advocacy is a huge part of what we do here at CHC. Thank you to Senator Tim Scott, Congresswoman Sheri Biggs, and Senator Lindsey Graham, for meeting with our employees, other health centers staff, and all that you do for chc's across our nation. We appreciate all of your hard work!
