There have been numerous reports of fatal and non-fatal overdoses caused by a synthetic opioid called cychlorphine (including here in South Carolina).

Multiple doses of naloxone may be required because cychlorphine is up to 40 times more potent than fentanyl.

You can get Narcan naloxone nasal spray for FREE at any Cornerstone office in Greenwood, Edgefield, McCormick, or Abbeville counties.

You can also get FREE Narcan at any county health department office for the South Carolina Department of Public Health as well as at Carolina Health Centers' two pharmacy locations in Greenwood.

Because this substance is an emerging threat, many standard toxicology screens used by hospitals, emergency responders, and law enforcement may not detect cychlorphine.

Synergy Counseling is excited to share on behalf of Kentavious Rayford this professional milestone. After earning a Master of Business Administration alongside a Master of Science in Management, he has transitioned from Practice Manager to Business Operations Manager at Synergy Counseling.

He also obtained his Google Analytics certification, strengthening his ability to analyze data, track performance, and support data-driven decision-making to improve business outcomes.

This advancement reflects his continued growth in strategic leadership, operational efficiency, and overall business performance. In this new role, he looks forward to strengthening systems, supporting team development, and enhancing outcomes for both the organization and the clients it serves.
