THE STORY BEHIND SANKOFA APOTHECARY
SANKOFA APOTHECARY was started by me, Treece Duncan, in 2015, from a need and a desire to improve my overall skin health. After struggling for years with eczema, dry skin, rashes and sensitivity to various skin care products, I changed my diet and turned to making my own skincare products at home. Knowing the skin is the largest organ of the body, I took the information I’d learned in college from my biology and chemistry classes and began researching and creating my own bath and body products to specifically target my problem areas and bothersome skin conditions. This way, I knew exactly what was going onto my skin and ultimately into my body.
With great success at improving my overall skin health, I began to reach out to friends and close family members that suffered from similar skin conditions. With proper and consistent use, they saw dramatic improvements as well. My handmade, all natural products are now available to help you with the same or similar skin care and other health issues and needs. We have a wide range of products that include aromatherapy, hydrotherapy, handmade cold process soaps and body butters... to herb infused oils and yoni steams.
SANKOFA▪APOTHECARY – uses “old fashioned” practices and ingredients such as herbs, flowers, root extracts and 100% all-natural essential oils to bring health and healing to your mind, body and spirit.
