Oaks Recovery

Oaks Recovery Where Recovery from Addiction Takes Root We are not a detox center, a medical or mental health facility, or clinical counseling center.

Oaks Recovery offers the support and solution through 12 step utilization and personal experience as a way to help themselves and others. The team provides support, coaching, and daily oversight to overcome substance use disorder and grow a life rooted in recovery. Big thank you to everyone who donated and dropped off gifts for our annual Willow White Elephant Party!

This year, we had a full house and every woman was able to be included, celebrated, and thought of during the holidays. Moments like these may seem small, but they create memories that stay with them long after their stay at Willow.

We also had many first-time players with white elephant gift exchange so it was fun to watch them open & learn to steal gifts 🤣 Lots of laughter & joy!

Thank you again for helping make tonight so special. Your support helped turn an ordinary evening into something meaningful and fun for the women of Willow House. We are deeply grateful 🤍

ROOTED COMMUNITY ZOOM MEETING TONIGHT | 7:30 PM

Your past pain doesn’t have to be something you just survive.
It can become the admission price into a new life.

Whether you’re walking your own recovery journey or learning how to heal as a family, there comes a moment when we fear pain less and begin to value the humility it brings.

Tonight we’ll explore how the hardest chapters of our lives can be used to change everything for our present and our future.

Come as you are.
Nothing to prove.

Tonight | 7:30 PM
All are welcome.

Please help us congratulate Oaks Alumni, Woody C. on celebrating FOUR YEARS SOBER this evening!

It doesn’t matter if our Alumni live a few miles away or hundreds of miles away, they always find a way to make it back home where the journey began!

Thank you Woody for traveling back to us this evening and sharing your powerful testimony with our residents. There is nothing more inspiring than when our Alumni give a glimpse of what life was life before arriving at Oaks, and what life is like now!

Tonight at 7:30 PM • Rooted in Recovery

Tonight’s meeting will be an open discussion.
No set topic. No pressure. Just honest conversation and space for whatever you’re walking through right now.

We may touch on themes that naturally come up this time of year—like the ego saying “you can’t handle any more” and the soul quietly reminding us that we can—but the room will guide the discussion.

Come as you are.
Share what’s real.
Or simply sit and receive.

You’re invited.

Rooted Community Call — Tonight at 7:30 PM

We’re picking up from last week’s conversation and opening the floor for an honest discussion about this year’s holiday season.

We want to hear from you…

➤ What was this Thanksgiving like for you?
➤ What felt heavy, what felt healing, and what did you learn about yourself?
➤ How are you moving into Christmas and the New Year — emotionally, spiritually, and relationally?

This is a safe place for families, friends, alumni, and anyone impacted by addiction or recovery to gather, share, listen, and be reminded that you’re not walking this season alone.

As we move through the holidays, we’re also opening the door for anyone who wants to support Oaks and Willow.

You can give toward Giving Tuesday scholarships, or donate a $20 wrapped gift for the Willow House White Elephant (or Venmo $20 and we’ll wrap it for you).

Your generosity directly impacts the men and women we serve.

If you’ve been struggling, come.
If you’re grateful, come.
If you’re just taking things one day at a time, come.

All are welcome.

Since the very beginning of Oaks Recovery, we’ve had the honor of offering well over 100 scholarships to men and women seeking freedom from addiction. None of this would have been possible without the love and support of our staff, alumni, families, friends, and those who believe in our mission.

This Giving Tuesday, we’re boldly asking for your help.

The holiday season is one of the hardest times for those battling addiction and for families praying for a lifeline. Your donation allows us to show up with hope and a real chance at life for someone who’s ready for recovery.

This Giving Tuesday every single cent you give will go directly to a scholarship. Your gift won’t just impact the person who walks through our doors it will become an answered prayer for a family holding on to hope.

Whether it’s $20 or $500
Your love matters your support changes lives.

If you’re able, please donate and help us share this message with friends.

Let’s turn prayers into second chances.

Donate. Share. Support.
We can’t do this without you.

ROOTED Community — Tonight at 7:30 PM
Topic: Personalized Boundaries for the Holidays

The holidays can be beautiful… but they can also bring up old patterns, pressure, family dynamics, and memories of past seasons that were heavy or chaotic. Whether you’re supporting someone in recovery or walking your own path, this time of year can feel more complicated than it looks from the outside.

Tonight, we’re holding space for a real conversation about personalized boundaries—the kind that protect your peace, support your recovery, and help you stay grounded through the holidays. Not walls. Not avoidance. Just honest choices that honor what you need.

If you’ve been feeling the weight of expectations, social gatherings, financial pressure, or environments that don’t feel safe… this is for you.

All are welcome.
7:30 PM EST.

Please help us congratulate Oaks Alumni, Erik V. on EIGHT YEARS SOBER!! 🎉 🎉 🎉

After completing our program, Erik decided to further his recovery in Greenwood and was even an instrumental part of our team for several years before moving to North Carolina.

Erik was also the FIRST person Herren Project sent to us when we starting partnering with them 8 years ago. Thank you Herren Project for giving Erik this opportunity. And thank you Erik for coming back to Oaks, year after year, to share your experience, strength, and hope with our residents!
