Today isn’t just about a long weekend or firing up the grill. It’s a day to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our freedoms.

As a locally owned business serving the River Valley, we’re grateful for those who gave everything so we can enjoy the lives, families, and opportunities we have today.

Our thoughts are with the families of our fallen heroes and everyone who has served our nation.

From my family to yours, thank you to those who paid the highest price for our freedom. We will never forget.

Most facility managers can tell you exactly when the trash gets emptied.

They can tell you what day the floors get cleaned.

They can probably tell you who has the keys to the building.

But ask them what the biggest liability risk in their facility is right now, and that’s a much tougher question.

Not because they don’t care.

Because when you’re busy running a business, it’s easy to focus on what you can see.

The problem is that most liability issues don’t announce themselves.

They quietly build up over time.

A loose handrail.

A slippery floor that has lost its finish.

An entryway that stays wet every time it rains.

A burned-out parking lot light.

A damaged carpet edge that becomes a trip hazard.

I’ve owned a commercial cleaning company for years, and I’ve learned something important:

The biggest problems are usually the ones nobody notices until something goes wrong.

By the time an insurance claim happens, the warning signs have often been there for weeks or even months.

That’s why at Fort Smith Green Clean, we don’t just focus on cleaning.

We pay attention.

If we see a potential safety issue, we point it out.

If a floor is becoming a slip risk, we let you know.

If something looks unsafe, we don’t walk past it and pretend we didn’t see it.

Because cleaning isn’t just about making a facility look good.

It’s about helping protect the people who walk through your doors every day.

Blue Zoo Family 💙

This is one of the hardest posts we’ve ever had to write.

After many difficult conversations and heartfelt consideration, we need to share that Blue Zoo Rogers will be closing at the end of this summer, with our final day expected to be around August 1st.

We are truly heartbroken.

Over the years, this aquarium became so much more than a place to see animals. It became a place where families made memories together. Where toddlers touched stingrays for the very first time. Where kids met mermaids with eyes full of wonder. Where classmates learned about animals hands-on. Where birthday candles were blown out, shark teeth were proudly carried home, and “just one more lap around the aquarium” became part of family traditions.

And all of that happened because of YOU.

To every guest who visited us…
Every Annual Pass Holder…
Every family who spent a rainy afternoon with us…
Every teacher, student, birthday kiddo, homeschool group, and animal lover…

Thank you.

Thank you for supporting us, believing in us, and allowing us to be part of your lives over the years. You helped create something incredibly special here in Rogers.

Please know this decision was not made lightly, and this is not what we wanted. Circumstances changed, and despite every effort, we are no longer able to continue operating this location.

Our team has poured their hearts into this aquarium and into the care of every single animal here. They showed up every day ready to inspire, educate, and create magical moments for your families. We could not be more grateful for them - or for this community.

The good news is that we still have the whole summer together.

Before we say goodbye, we would truly love to see you again and again.

If Blue Zoo Rogers has been part of your story, we hope you’ll visit us this summer.

Whether you visit once more or every week until our final day, we would be honored to spend the summer making memories with you.

We are sad too. Deeply sad.

But more than anything, we are thankful.

Thank you for every laugh, every excited squeal, every family photo, every kind review, and every moment of trust you gave us over the years.

Blue Zoo Rogers may be closing its doors, but the joy, wonder, and connection this community created will stay with us forever.

Anyone can go get an LLC, start a cleaning business and grab some mops and fabuloso from Wal Mart and tell you their dream and passion was to be a cleaner. Others actually invest and learn the business, from the right cleaning chemicals to the right vacuums to electrostatic sanitation and floor care to our Nexus QC quality control software. I’ve learned every inch of this business and I am still learning, focused on doing it right.
