If you or someone you support receives incontinence, ostomy, or urological supplies through a fee-for-service (FFS) (traditional) Medicaid plan, please be aware that J&B Medical will become the sole state provider for these supplies beginning February 1, 2026. For members enrolled in Hoosier Healthwise, Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP), or Hoosier Care Connect, incontinence, ostomy, and urological supplies will continue to be managed through the member’s health plan and its provider network.

She reported to some serious concerns to me, and together we contacted the right people to get her individual the assistance they needed to stay in the program and have their voice be heard. Tom Crishon, our chief legal officer, recently attended the ceremonial bill signing for Senate Enrolled Act 409, legislation that The Arc of Indiana supported in the 2025 legislative session.

SEA 409 prohibits an employer from taking adverse action against an employee who must miss work to attend a case conference committee meeting or attendance conference for their child, ensuring parents aren’t forced to choose between their job and their child’s education.

Case conference committee meetings are essential to upholding a student’s right to a Free Appropriate Public Education, as guaranteed by state and federal law. These meetings rely on meaningful parental participation, which helps ensure that Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) are tailored to each child’s strengths and needs.

When families and schools work together, students benefit. SEA 409 strengthens that collaboration.

"Jessica Snyder exemplifies excellence in action. As she transitions from Supervisor to Quality Assurance Coordinator, I wanted to acknowledge what her leadership has meant to me.
From the day I started as a Case Manager, she laid out clear expectations and offered tools to stay organized and a link to a library of resources she developed for every aspect of Case Management. She met me one on one and shared how she kept her caseload information organized, emphasizing I did not have to do it her way, but rather offering an avenue to organize information in OneNote and choosing which tools would work best for me. I cannot recall a time when I did not feel supported or confident she would lead me to the location to find the answer to my questions. Her kindness and positivity are contagious, especially during challenging situations, resulting in me changing my mindset and approach.
She is a leader who creates an environment where everyone can grow. Thank you, Jessica, for your time and talent steering me to excel in my role as a Case Manager."
