DR. BRYAN GREEN, gastroenterologist from Greenwood, served as Doctor of the Day at the Statehouse!

Rep. Daniel Gibson and I were delighted to welcome him during “colorectal cancer awareness month.” He advised that the Colon Cancer Prevention Network provides free screening for the uninsured in SC.

My advice: “Don’t delay screening.” Screening likely saved my life as I would have had full blown cancer by age 49.

Greenwood gastroenterologist, Dr. Bryan Green joined other digestive health advocates from across the country for the Digestive Disease National Coalition’s public policy forum in Washington, D.C.

At this forum, advocates have the opportunity to meet with members of Congress or their staff to share personal experiences, explain community needs, and ask for support on specific legislation or funding priorities that benefit people affected by digestive diseases.
