David wanted a picture with his therapists at Community Rehab Hospital. If you haven’t seen his video we posted earlier, go back and watch!

David arrived to our facility as a returning pt with a history of stroke. He developed a kidney stone that required prolonged hospitalization d/t complications causing him to become debilitated from his baseline function. Upon initial evaluation, David required maximal assistance for bed mobility and 2 people for transfers, and Maximal assistance-dependent for bathing/dressing and toileting. After his stay at our facility, he has progressed to minimal assistance for bed mobility and transfers, ambulating with a hemiwalker for up to 45' with minimal assistance, and negotiates 4 steps with a hand rail with minimal assistance. He is now able to bathe and dress with supervision-minimal assistance as well. We are so proud of David and his progress!
