🎉 Big News from Dr. Looper!🦷

After 30 wonderful years at our beautiful practice on Poinsett, we’ve officially MOVED! While it is bittersweet for us to leave behind the space where we’ve shared so many smiles, laughs, and life moments with you all, we’re truly excited about this next chapter.

The reason for our move? The Better Business Bureau of Greenville purchased the entire building as part of their relocation—Bon Secours Wellness Arena announced its expansion that includes their downtown Greenville office being torn down. Our practice was the perfect fit for their new location! Vanessia and Hunter from the BBB were wonderful throughout the process, and we wish them all the best in their new home in Greer.

💙 We’re still the same small, friendly team you know and trust—just now in a beautiful new location with better parking, updated features, and the same commitment to your care and comfort.

We have moved ten minutes down Wade Hampton to the Shoppes at Hampton Commons. We’re hard at work making it feel like home, and we can’t wait to welcome you in!

Thank you for being part of our dental family all these years. Here’s to new beginnings and continued smiles!

With love,

Our continued commitment to you during COVID-19
As the concern regarding the spread of Coronavirus increases, I want to let you know how going to a dental appointment factors into the situation.
First, a dental office is a place where everything is sterilized. Counter tops and other surfaces are wiped down with disinfectant after every patient.
Private care offices like ours don’t have a reception area full of sick people like you may experience at a medical office. We feel we do a good job of running on schedule to limit your wait time.
Additionally, we have been using a hospital grade disinfectant that covers all surfaces in the office multiple times each week to further fight bacteria and viruses. This disinfectant is approved for the disinfection of COVID-19 (coronavirus), MRSA, H1N1, swine influenza virus, and others. It kills HIV-1 and HBV.
We have always taken every precaution and measure to keep our patients safe. You can rest assured we will continue to follow proper protocols.
Remember to wash your hands regularly. Keep a small bottle of hand sanitizer with you for when you touch public surfaces such as gas pumps, doors, and shopping carts.
We appreciate you putting your trust in us for your dental care, and we look forward to seeing you at your next appointment!

ARE YOU STILL NEGLECTING YOUR ORAL HEALTH? "General dentist visits declined slowly and steadily during the Great Recession, reaching a low of 38.4% in 2010, and have not shown significant signs of recovery. Out-of-pocket expenditures were lower in 2015 than in 2003 for general dental and orthodontic care." Our economy has recovered from the Great Recession but the majority of Americans are still neglecting their teeth because they don't have the same insurance coverage that they had before the recession. That kind of coverage will never return because companies save too much money not offering to employees. It's time to stop waiting and prioritize your health again. Skipping a visit to the dentist for a year or two could lead to undiagnosed cavities or abscesses that grow from a $100 problem to a $1000 procedure! A new car only looks good if your beautiful and healthy smile is reflected in the rear view mirror.

This study was undertaken to quantify how the Great Recession impacted the demand for general oral health care and orthodontic care in the United States. The authors conducted an analysis to help dentists anticipate changes in demand for care during future economic downturns.

Our prayers go out to our friends and family in Charleston as Hurricane Dorian approaches them. Flooding in Charleston is always problematic but the approaching storm will bring devastating flooding, up to 15 inches. Praying for everyone and any animals staying behind.
