I had my first request for a painted placenta print today! I think it turned out beautifully 🤩

Right side is just from the raw placenta. It’s important to me not to add anything to the placenta prior to encapsulating, so the left side is watercolor painted after a raw print.

Giving birth soon in the midst of of COVID-19?

I have several clients giving birth in the very near future many with intentions of birthing in the hospital. If you’re also planning on birthing at the hospital soon, consider these things...

•Labor at home as long as possible
•Go straight to labor and delivery (instead of stopping in the ER)
•Call ahead to your hospital administration and explain that your doula is NOT a visitor - she is an essential part of your birth team!
•Do not allow your baby to be separated from you - skin to skin and breastfeeding are essential building blocks to your baby’s immune system
•Consider switching to a birth center or home birth if you’re low risk

This is your birth YOUR WAY. You get it make the important decision regarding you, your baby, and birth.
