Dr. Ferguson started seeing a chiropractor (Dr. Keels) at a young age and saw the benefits of chiropractic. He loves to be involved in the community, as well as sports. His desire to help people was a major factor in choosing to become a chiropractor. Dr. Josh Keels grew up in South Carolina and Florida. One of Dr. Keels' passion is sports and this passion helped to guide Dr. Keels into studying Chiropractic. His love for baseball has had a huge impact on his life both as a youth and as an adult. Dr. Keels' played baseball for Gardner Webb University, and had the opportunity to play in the College World Series in 2000. He currently works with athletes from all the local colleges in the upstate and is a advisor with Byrnes High School Athletics. Upon receiving a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nutrition and Health Sciences from Gardner Webb, Josh enrolled in Sherman College of Chiropractic. He is trained in Gonstead technique, and activator techniques. In 2007 he completed is CCEP requirements (Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner). He is one of 2 CCEP practitioners in the upstate of South Carolina. Dr. Keels is also a certified personal trainer and fitness consultant. Abner Creek Chiropractic offers chiropractic care and also offers massage therapy, detoxification, weight loss programs and Standard Process Herbal Supplements. We also have a 24 hr fitness center on site. Please contact us for more information. We are in-network preferred providers for most insurance companies in the area including: Medicare/Medicaid, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, and MedCost.
