🔴💥 Assisted Living Week is coming to an end, but we made sure it went out with a BANG! 💥🔴
🎪🤹 We had the most thrilling “Under the Big Top” party for our residents. This afternoon consisted of games, concessions, photo booths, and lots of laughs! All the smiles this gives our little Providence community is why we love to do what we do. Our residents are such special people, and it also takes special people to make all of this possible for us to have. We give much appreciation to the ladies from Gentiva Hospice, Adorations, AccentCare, Mississippi HomeCare, Legacy Hospice, and all our staff. They certainly enjoyed the greatest show on earth! 🤡🎪

📣🏈 Day 4 is Team Thursday where we got to wear our favorite sports team shirt or team colors! 🥎🏉
🍪🎃 This morning, the nice ladies from Vital Caring Home Health, hosted a special cookie decorating class. This was the first time we’ve ever gotten to do this , and it turned out to be a huge hit that we would definitely love to do again. Thank you Sheena, Nancy, and Erin for making some pretty sweet treats for us.
Then later in the afternoon, we had a Tailgate Bingo which is always a huge fan favorite for our residents. We’ve sure enjoyed this special week so far! 🥳🎈

😎 Day 3 of our Assisted Living Week is Wildlife Wednesday! We were ready to take on the wild by wearing our camo and animal print. 🥳

🦌🔫 This morning, we had an exciting trophy hunt. Our hunting guides, Alison and Tammie from Adorations HomeHealth and Hospice, gave all our residents a five star fun shooting experience! Later in the afternoon, we went on the lookout for bears and some good snacks. We found them both thanks to Vicki and Shonie from AccentCare HomHealth and Hospice. We certainly enjoyed the “Bear Necessities” party ladies. 🧸🍪

🎉😴 Day 2 of Assisted Living Week was our “Tired Tuesday” so we all got to stay comfy and cozy in our pajamas. 🥱👕
🎨 This morning, we had a relaxing painting class hosted by Hannah English of Legacy Hospice. It was so much fun, and we love how everyone’s work of art was so different and colorful. 👩‍🎨
🎈 For our afternoon activity, we picked up the pace a little bit through movement and coordination, and played an exciting game of balloon tic-tac-toe hosted by Tonya McBride of the Tallahatchie General Hospital’s IOP Department. Then, we all got to have some very tasty refreshments. 🧁

🎉🎈 Assisted Living Week has officially kicked off for all of us, and we are super excited about the events that are in store for us this week! 🪅🎉
🧢Day 1 was “Mis-matched Monday” so our dress was anything tacky, silly, or creative. Our morning activity was arts and crafts, and we made crazy hats. Each one was uniquely made and decorated for this special day. Later in the afternoon, Shay and Jasmine from Gentiva Hospice, hosted a special ice cream social and bingo that lasted well into the afternoon! Thank you ladies for the delicious sundaes. They were enjoyed by all. 🍦
