Last (but definitely not least), we’re introducing…

Amanda...

Amanda is the Executive Director and Founder of Chayah Ministries, where she leads with compassion, conviction, and a deep commitment to helping women find freedom in Christ. A devoted follower of Jesus and single mother, Amanda is passionate about walking alongside women breaking free from addiction, shame, anxiety, and depression.

Her story includes childhood sexual abuse, teenage addiction, and significant emotional and physical trauma. Even after overcoming substance abuse before becoming a mother, she continued to battle depression and anxiety—eventually receiving a clinical diagnosis during her early years of single motherhood. By the grace of God, Amanda has maintained sobriety since December 2006 and has experienced profound healing from anxiety and depression.

Believing firmly that true healing comes through the work of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit, Amanda now helps women pursue wholeness and restoration. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP). Amanda serves clients through Whole Way Well and leads Chayah Ministries with a mission to empower women to walk forward in hope, freedom, and faith.

Her greatest joy is raising her child, spending time in God’s Word, and witnessing firsthand how Christ transforms lives.

God has brought together a powerful group of women at Chayah…

Meet Alicia...

Alicia Rodriguez serves as the President of Chayah Ministries, leading with bold faith, authenticity, and a deep passion for helping women experience the transforming love of Jesus Christ. As a mother of three and an entrepreneur, Alicia pours her heart into empowering women to believe that redemption is possible—because she has lived it herself.

Before encountering Christ in 2019, Alicia’s life was marked by addiction, crime, alcoholism, and incarceration. Through a life-changing encounter with Jesus, everything shifted. Today, she walks confidently in the freedom she found in Him, living as a powerful testimony that no one is beyond the reach of God’s grace.

Alicia is also the founder of Rooted in Love, a Christian streetwear brand that reflects her desire to spread messages of faith, hope, and restoration. Additionally, Alicia has worked in the non-profit space for 6 years. Her leadership at Chayah is grounded in Scripture and guided by a commitment to serve with excellence. Believing that “the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few,” she is devoted to proclaiming the Gospel and encouraging women to step boldly into the identity and purpose God has for them.

Outside of ministry, Alicia loves time with her children, studying God’s Word, and creating spaces where others can encounter the love and freedom she has found in Christ.

Holy Week...

Yesterday was Good Friday.
Today is Holy Saturday,
the day in between.

Saturday was not yet a celebration.
It was a space filled with silence, uncertainty, and questions.

Jesus’ body lay in the tomb.
The stone was sealed.

Before there is resurrection, there is always crucifixion.

This pattern echoes throughout Scripture again and again.

Jesus came with purpose,
a purpose for us,
for our good and for His glory.

And Saturday…
is where faith waits.

We’re honored to be led and supported by women who truly care.

Meet Carrie...

Carrie serves as the secretary on the Board of Directors for Chayah Ministries, bringing a powerful testimony of God’s redeeming grace and a deep passion for leading women to Jesus Christ. Her life reflects the faithfulness of God through seasons of hardship, including abuse and alcohol addiction, and the freedom and restoration found through His grace and love.

Because of what Jesus has done in her own life, Carrie feels a strong calling to walk alongside other women—helping them believe that no past is too broken for God to redeem. Her heart is to see women experience healing, hope, and peace, and to know with confidence that Jesus is able to rescue, restore, and renew every life surrendered to Him.

Professionally, Carrie has served as a paralegal for 24 years, using her strengths in writing, research, and analysis to serve others with excellence, integrity, and care. Her legal background has shaped her strong attention to detail, effective communication, and deep commitment to compassion and accountability.

For the past three years, Carrie has also led women through Re:generation, a biblically based discipleship program at her church that focuses on healing, recovery, and freedom from a wide range of struggles.

Carrie enjoys spending time outdoors camping and hiking with her husband, writing, singing, listening to music, and being with her family. As a mother of seven and grandmother of six, she has witnessed firsthand the generational impact of restoration and the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

What a beautiful week it has been.

We reflect on what Jesus was sent to earth for. HIS purpose was for each of us to be saved from sin.

Its Good Friday and it is GOOD indeed!

Isaiah 53:5 NLT
But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.
