Once the zirconia arch was milled, the artistry began. Using hand-finishing, pre-sinter coloring, and three carefully staged bakes, we transformed the restoration into a lifelike smile. With MIYO™ ceramic pastes and MYIO Structure™, we layered in translucency, subtle color variations, and natural tissue textures for a biomimetic finish.

When paired with the precisely milled titanium bar, the result was a beautiful, functional arch with a passive fit—proof that the right digital workflow, paired with a human touch, delivers excellence.

Back in April, we attended a RealGUIDE™ course with Zimvie focused on design workflow for a split bar case—an all-on-x fixed denture supported by a titanium bar. Thanks to course directors Darren Emert and Casey Kahn, we came away with valuable insights and immediately put them into practice.

RealGUIDE™ isn’t just CAD software—it’s a suite of cloud-based programs that connect implant planning, surgical guides, and definitive design, enabling seamless collaboration between doctors and technicians.

After the course, we brought our design home and processed it through a full digital workflow: printing accurate models with our Carbon 3D printer, milling the titanium bar in-house with our Imes Icore 350i™, and verifying fit before moving into zirconia arch fabrication.
