elevated chiropractic care for you and your family

Why am I so obsessed with going on walks?
Because it’s maybe one of the most underestimated yet powerful healing practices for the brain and nervous system. It goes WAY beyond just physical health.
That and the fact that it’s simple, accessible, and deeply effective for anyone healing from chronic illness. ✨

Top 5 Reasons Your Nervous System Won’t Allow You To Rest
It’s not you. It’s your wiring.
You’re not broken.
Your nervous system has just been living in survival mode for too long.
Reason #1: You’ve been running on dysregulated cortisol for years.
High-functioning stress becomes your default; until it doesn’t.
Your brain gets used to the rush of urgency and being busy with task after task… and confused by calm.
Reason #2: Stillness feels unsafe in your body.
If slowing down triggers anxiety, racing thoughts, or guilt...that’s a dysregulated survival response, not a mindset flaw.
Reason #3: You’ve confused productivity with safety.
When your worth has been tied to what you do, not how you feel, rest can feel like failure.
But your nervous system doesn’t heal through performance.
Reason #4: Your Nervous System has no rhythm.
Burnout often lives in chaotic, unpredictable patterns. Rest becomes possible when your body trusts your daily rhythm.
No rhythm = no safety = no rest.
Reason #5: You’re still treating stress with control.
More biohacks. More plans. More protocols.
But the thing your nervous system really needs?
→ Less control.
→ More connection.
→ More compassion.
You don’t need to earn rest.
You need to retrain your body to feel safe in it.
✨ Save this for the next time you feel guilty for resting.
✨ Drop a “💗” if this hits home.

Let’s talk about something no one warns you about during chronic illness:
Healing comparison.
When I was first diagnosed, I followed every account that sounded like mine - hoping to find the protocol that would fix me.
But instead of healing, I felt more overwhelmed.
Every supplement I tried.
Every rigid routine I forced.
Every protocol I copied...
Only added to my stress.
And my nervous system? It was DONE.
That’s when I realized something that changed everything:
You can’t heal your unique body by copying someone else’s rhythm.
What helped her might trigger you.
What worked for you last year might not work today.
And that’s not failure - that’s feedback.
I stopped chasing healing perfection.
I started honoring my nervous system.
I created slow, safe rhythms that matched my life, my cycles, my story.
And guess what?
That’s when healing actually began.
If you’ve been stuck in the comparison trap, this is your gentle reminder:
Your healing doesn’t have to look like hers - and it’s not supposed to.
🤍Drop a heart if this hits home for you.
🤍Save the next time you feel healing comparison creeping in.
Save this for the next time you feel healing

Hey friends! ✨
My health journey the last few years has taught me so much about the importance of slowing down, reconnecting to self, and creating daily rhythms that support and maintain true healing. I’m still in the messy middle of my own healing and even though I don’t have it all figured out (and probably won’t ever have it all figured out 🤣).
I continue to feel prompted to share the things I have learned through my knowledge of being a bit of a nerdy brain-focused chiropractor along with my personal experience in navigating healing from autoimmune disease stemming from chronic stress.
Stay tuned for info on a new website that will host digital products, a personal blog, and future courses all related to simplifying healing from chronic stress and creating the sustainable wellness lifestyle you have been dreaming of. ✨

✨my story✨
Life doesn’t always go as planned but I continue to choose to be grateful for all the experiences that are happening FOR me, even the really difficult ones. I have learned more about myself and what’s really important to me while breaking down, fully raw in the valley. But pain can birth purpose and I feel called to create a community that offers connection and real life tools that can help other women who are going through similar circumstances rooted in chronic stress.
Let’s heal together.

In my Friday feels over here. ☁️🙏🏻
I’ve been trying to find new ways to help me get to know the real me again and a lot of those things require me to get quiet. In the quiet, our sweet God reminds me who I really am through readings, gratitude, nature, and writing. When we can reconnect to our truest selves again, we can finally hear what our bodies and spirits need to feel fully nourished.
If you’re not sure where to begin, think about what you loved doing when you were a child where you felt most like yourself. What brought you joy and peace and calm? ☺️
I loved watching the clouds go by in the sky, going on walking adventures in our trees on the acreage, and writing poetry. I’d love to know what made you feel like YOU when you were young that you would like to start doing again now. 🙏🏻🫶🏻
